11-led-outdoor-lightingThe answer is yes and no.  Yes it can be complicated when you take into account whether you want lights mounted in stone, yes it can be complicated if you want moonlighting installed in a 40 ft. tree.  Yes it can be complicated if you are drilling under sidewalks, driveways and patios and do not want to destroy the surface.  Yes it can be complicated if you want the right color temperature on the home, the trees, the walkway. Yes it can be complicated when down lighting from the eaves to get just the right accent on steps from the patio to the pool with the right beam spread so it doesn’t look like a baseball field.  Yes it can be complicated if you spent many thousands of dollars on your pool, outdoor kitchen, landscape, and you think it will cost only a couple of thousand dollars to light it (professionally).  Then yes, outdoor lighting is complicated.
Now no it’s not complicated if you hire a seasoned professional outdoor lighting (only) company who employees a lighting designer who has designed over a 1000 projects, who has been certified in outdoor lighting design and has won numerous lighting awards.  And no it’s not complicated if the installation team has installed over 3000 projects and has been certified to do so.  And no it’s not complicated if the company has one specialty only, and that is outdoor lighting.
So the answer is yes and no, you make the call.
